Rug Type: Flatweave / Soumak (Soumak represents a form of brocading or a flat-woven pile technique. It distinguishes itself from kilims by its increased thickness, achieved through a process of looping yarn horizontally around successive pairs of warp threads, alternating with over-under wefting passes.)
Material: Hand made, hand spun wool weave (naturally dyed with roots & plants) on a wool foundation.
