✔ Handwoven in the Taspinar region of central Turkey, this 1960s village rug showcases the bold, architectural artistry the area is celebrated for. A striking stepped brick red medallion anchors the design, framed by a dark periwinkle-blue field and surrounded by intricate tribal motifs. The palette—featuring soft camel, ivory, navy, and touches of garnet—creates a powerful yet elegant visual harmony.
This is a true Taspinar aesthetic: strong geometry, saturated natural dyes, and a sturdy wool pile made to last generations. Whether placed in a living room, library, bedroom, or large foyer, it brings warmth, energy, and heritage into the space.
