✔ This kilim from Eastern Turkey, woven in the 1940s from hand-spun wool, showcases the rich artistry of Anatolian embroidery. The cicim technique creates a raised, textured surface with diamond lattices filled with multicolored hook motifs — symbols of protection and continuity. Its palette of charcoal brown, rose, amber, tangerine, ivory, and faded lilac has softened beautifully with time.
