✔ A mid-century Mut kilim from southern Turkey, woven in a bold stepped-medallion layout reminiscent of Navajo weaving traditions. The repeated diamond chain creates a clean, rhythmic composition, softened by small protective “evil-eye” symbols that appear throughout the field.
Hand-woven from hand-spun wool on a wool foundation, this piece balances graphic structure with a naturally aged, earthy palette — ideal for Scandinavian, California casual, or desert-modern interiors. Lightweight and versatile, it works beautifully as a small area rug, a layered textile, or mounted as wall art.
