✔  This handmade Turkish rug carries the refined geometry associated with Mamluk design, with a large central medallion, star-like motifs, and an orderly, highly decorative field set against a deep charcoal ground. The composition feels regal and architectural, but the softened palette keeps it approachable and easy to live with.

The colors are rich yet understated — charcoal, faded peach, soft aqua, sage green, ivory, terracotta, muted gold, pale blue, and dusty rose. These washed tones soften the strong geometry and give the rug a balanced, collected look with both warmth and depth.

Hand-knotted in Turkey from hand-spun Ghazni wool on a wool foundation, the rug has a soft low pile and a substantial handmade feel. The wool gives the colors gentle richness, while the precise drawing keeps the pattern crisp and beautifully defined.
