Woven in the 1960s from 100% hand-spun wool naturally dyed with roots and plants, it features the classic bird and tulip motifs — symbols of harmony and joy in Balkan textile tradition. The geometric medallions dance across a warm carmine-red field, framed by lavender-gray borders with stepped motifs in ivory, teal, mustard, and black.

Lightweight yet durable, this flatweave combines artistry with everyday function.
