✔  This vintage Kars Kurdish kilim has a warm, earthy presence, with rows of large geometric medallions arranged across a banded flatweave field. The design is rhythmic and decorative, with a strong village character that feels both grounded and expressive.

The palette is soft but distinctive — dark brown, charcoal gray, warm beige, cream, taupe, dusty pink, soft rose, and brighter fuchsia pink accents. The pink tones bring an unexpected brightness to the otherwise earthy ground, giving the rug personality without making it feel too loud.
