✔  Handwoven in the Mut region of southern Turkey, this mid-century kilim features three stacked stepped medallions arranged in a rhythmic vertical layout — a geometric format deeply rooted in Anatolian weaving long before its visual similarity to Navajo textiles was ever noted. The pattern is bold and architectural, yet softened by gently sun-washed colors.

Woven from hand-spun wool on a wool foundation, the rug has a tight, durable flatweave with a supple handle, making it ideal for floor use, wall display, or layering.
